HUNTING

    Ireland Angus has many types of hunting.  There are acres of rocks to look over.  Many Fairburn agates, fossils, and petrified wood have been found here and in the surrounding area.  There are deer and antelope for your hunting pleasure.  We had a 7 X 8 deer, and many smaller bucks taken from our place.  We also have mountain lions and bobcats.  One of the biggest bobcats in SD was taken along the river just below the corrals.  A friend took a picture of a mountain lion about ¼ mile from the house.  We have approximately 200 acres of prairie dogs.  Last year was a very prolific year for them!  In the Badlands there are always coyotes.  Unfortunately, we have plenty.  Coyotes usually take one or two new born calves for us each year.
